WHO THIS MINISTRY SERVES

The youth ministry here at New Life Portage Park has two chapters...

JR High - grades 7th thru 8th and
High School grades 9th thru 12th

This ministry serves the youth of Portage Park and its surrounding communities.

MEETING LOCATION & TIME
We meet every Friday from 7pm to 9:30pm at Luther North HS Gymnasium, unless otherwise indicated on our Home page or the calendar. 

The youth have a time of combined fellowship and worship and then break into same gender, same age-range small groups.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Outreach & inner-city mission events are scheduled throughout the year. An updated schedule is always available in our "Calendar of Events" section.  You can always contact the office with any questions @ 773-777-3360.

Thanks to our dedicated leaders, we also provide additional opportunity for youth to grow deeper in their faith... Sunday mornings First Steps & Grow Groups for youth.  We have two classes, one for boys and one for girls - both classes are in the main building on the 2nd Floor.  We also offer a girls Bible study and Sunday School for JR High - see the small groups link above.

If you are interested in making a long-term commitment to being a part of the youth ministry team here at Portage Park, we do require completion of an in depth ministry application, background check authorization and an interview by our Soul Purpose ministry leader.  Please see Rose to begin the application process.

PARENT SUPPORT

FUSION, Marriage Ministry of New Life Community Church seeks to equip and encourage the married/engaged couples of Portage Park.  They offers several weekly small groups and/or bible studies throughout the week.   

Women's Prayer Group... this group meets every Friday's @ 6:30pm at New Life Portage Park, during the Soul Purpose Program.  It is hosted by loving women of God who are lifting up the needs and requests of our church and it's members.  They have a time of corporate prayer and then pray in small groups for individual prayers requests.  

Men's Small Groups are available on various days.  Click on link below for details.
